The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a medical college and hospital, which was established in the year 1956 by the Indian Parliament. AIIMS was and continues to be the best amongst medical colleges in India. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi conducts AIIMS MBBS entrance exam for 700 MBBS seats in various AIIMS institutions located in New Delhi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Bhubaneswar, Patna and Raipur. AIIMS Exam is conducted every year on Sunday of last week in the month of May and application process starts from last week of January through Online mode only.
Age & Eligibility: Indian Citizens, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and Foreign Nationals who have completed 17 years as on the 31st December of the year of admission are eligible to apply. They must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board with subjects and a minimum aggregate of 60% for General/OBC Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and 50% for SC/ST/OPH candidates. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
